The guys from Northern House Clearance have just cleared a house for me in Scotland. The house was packed not only with a lifetimes worth of memories, but all the clutter that goes with it. An excellent 5 star service. Firstly the compassion shown due to the circumstances which resulted in having to use their services, not just on the phone but by the team who arrived, on time, to perform the job. Above all a friendly attitude goes a long way in stressful times. Professional from the start to the end of the day and due to the amount of clutter a second day was needed. I could not believe how much was cleared in just one day, it was as if the clutter had it's own clutter to clear. The team arrived bang on time and began work immediately. They continued for five solid days and completed the entire clearance of my late uncles house, which was a case of extreme hoarding over many decades. They even removed carpets, curtains and swept up so the house was ready for sale. They were exeptionally hard working, polite and charged a reasonable price for this incredibly difficult job. A new client, a young woman, called to ask if we could undertake a house clearance in Huddersfield a two-bedroomed flat which she had just inherited from her grandmother who had passed away recently. The flat was in a well-kept 1930s block in the Huddersfield area. She told us that the property was in good condition but it contained a lot of old furniture, some of which she thought might have antique value. She wanted to clear the flat so that she could redecorate and furnish it to her own style as she planned to move in.

A client called to ask if we could clear a large detached house for him, which he planned to move into. The property was a five-bedroomed Edwardian villa in Halifax which he had inherited from his late father. He had gone through the house already and taken his father’s personal effects and other items he wanted to keep. This still left a large amount of furniture which he wanted us to clear, as well as giving the house a thorough clean. Most of the furniture was of little value, but there were some antiques. We agreed to arrange for those to go into auction, a service we often provide to clients.
