House Clearance In Clydebank Case Example: Client instructions

In this case, our client owned a terraced house near Clydebank centre. The client and his family had been living for some years in the USA but had now returned to Scotland and planned to move into the three-bedroomed house. In their absence, they had been renting the property out.

Now they were temporarily in rented accommodation and want to clear the terraced house so they could redecorate and refurnish it before moving in. The client was keen that we should be able to do the job as quickly as possible, and we were able to fit them in within 48 hours of his first call.

The house had been rented out for several years, and the owner wanted a complete house clearance, including the kitchen appliances.

Clydebank House Clearance Report

Fortunately, there was off-street parking adjacent to the property where we could park. We started the house clearance early in the morning, and the client was there to meet us. There were two receptions downstairs as well as the kitchen, so we began with these.

We removed all of the furniture from the reception rooms and then moved on to the kitchen. We removed a washing machine, tumble drier and cooker from there as well as the kitchen cabinets. A Gas Safe engineer attended to remove the cooker safely.

We moved upstairs to the three bedrooms and removed beds, cabinets and a couple of large wardrobes. These were quite heavy, but not a problem for our trained staff.

Clydebank House Contents Disposal

Most of the house clearance furniture had little secondhand value although there were still some years of life in it. These items we donated to a local women’s refuge in Clydebank, along with the white goods which were in working order. Other items went to a local charity shop and we were left with only a small amount that was sent to a recycling centre.

Clydebank Customer Feedback

The owner checked over his property when we’d finished work and said that he was very pleased with the results, and with the fact that we’d been able to do the job so quickly.
